"Family of 7 in 3 bedroom 2 bath. Checked in late (9PM) due to car rental line (Avis) and dinner service (island time!!). Room had not been cleaned. Contacted Alonso, who responded immediately. Gave us access to another room while this one was cleaned. The maid and her husband (not the one who hadn’t done her job) left a party to take care of our room. Things like this happen and Alonso and his staff stepped up to rectify. Excellent service.
Property is about 20 years old, looks like the pictures. Undergoing cosmetic (paint) renovations at this time. Grounds are well kept, pool was always clean.
Animals seen on property included a nest of green parrots, iguanas, and lots of stray dogs and cats.
No restaurant or vending machines on site. A few markets close by. Must bring toileteries including toilet paper and at very least bottled water.
Location was great for our plans, about 30 min from San Juan, El Yunque, Laguna Grande Fajardo (bioluminescent, look it up) and many beaches.
Neighborhood was generally quiet.

"Great little hotel in quiet part of Vieques - the hosts were very kind and the neighborhood is lovely. Great views of full moon from our porch, lovely Coqui frogs singing, nice little fridge for storing groceries, great A/C, comfy bed. Just were there 1 night but would definitely return! Breakfast is pretty basic stuff but very accommodating hosts made sure we had everything that we needed. Netflix too (which feels weird to say when you're in paradise why watch Netflix) but hey it worked!"
