"Basically the hotel restaurant was not open. We checked in and the owner disappeared. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. It was a. Dry strange experience. We had a mini bar in our room, but basically it was a trip into nearest town 7k away to get provisions.
When we checked out in the morning, we were asked for payment . I explained and showed evidence that we had pre paid. Hotel clearly not used to bookings from Expedia. It was a little uncomfortable for all to say the least."
"We stayed at a room with type "Classic Suite, Private Bathroom" for one night in July. The room is too small for 4 people. Smell coming out from shower sink. The day of our stay it was quite hot and there was a vantilator in the room that was not working well and unfortunately the staff was not able to find an alternative solution. "Our stay at this hotel was marred by a very unfriendly employee as well as some misconceptions. The breakfast is twenty Euros per person. While it was adequate, it was worth about 10. For 20, I would expect more as well as the possibility of freshly made eggs. On Monday, the croissant felt like day old bread or purchased from the supermarket pre-made. "Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt im Maximilians Boutique Hotel in Landau. Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt – man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Der Service war freundlich und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert.
