Seven Fountains Farm
3.0 star property

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (6 reviews)
"A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves. Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather. Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August. The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder...

"Was left stranded outside the gate with no access no instructions. Gate would not open even though wr drove up to it. Phone lines dead. Had no option but to drive away feeling very sad and extremely dissapointed. Drove off into the dark desert looking for a last minute booking which ended up being 1.5 hours drive away. Management said no refund once they finally contacted us in a new telephone number that neither us or hotels.com had been provided with. Still waiting for some sort of apology...

Top Riebeek East Hotel Reviews

Ikwanitsha Lodge

Ikwanitsha Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful place, stunning views, clean, and full of atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights for a safari in Addo and Amakhala. Delicious breakfasts. The owners are very nice and helpful. On the way to Ikwanistsha, my car's windshield cracked; they helped me fill out the insurance paperwork and booked an appointment for a windshield replacement in Port Elizabeth. The accommodation is in a remote location and not the cheapest, but worth every dollar. We will remember the view from the terrace and the sounds of birds for the rest of our lives. Highly recommended if you are looking for accommodation near Addo, this place is for you!"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Riebeek East?
The best time to visit Riebeek East is during the dry season, which runs from May to October, as this offers pleasant weather for exploring.

During these months, the days are typically sunny and mild, with cooler evenings, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking or enjoying the local wildlife. This period is particularly good for couples looking for a tranquil escape. The clear skies and comfortable temperatures create a relaxing environment for enjoying the area's natural beauty and slower pace of life. You can take leisurely drives through the countryside or enjoy a quiet evening under the stars.

Families will also appreciate the dry season for its suitability for outdoor adventures. Children can comfortably explore the national park or engage in other outdoor pursuits without the interruption of rain.
