"As a senior woman it is important to me to feel safe at a hotel. I did feel safe here. The room was on the ground floor, good for me since I have bad legs. The bed was comfortable. I probably would have slept better if I had remembered to turn on the AC before turning out the lights! (Senior moment) I didn't stay for breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The bathroom was clean and the towels soft and absorbent."

"This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing. The only thing I would add is to have restaurant open we would have rather to have eaten there. Hope to come back with my best friends for a girl trip soon. "
