"We stayed in the Penthouse for a very reasonable rate. The penthouse was phenomenal… very VERY Spacious, and offered all of the comforts of home with 2 bedrooms, kitchen area and plenty of comfortable seating. "This property is a true gem! Beautiful, very clean home with cute decor. We booked last minute for a one night stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location is perfect! My son enjoyed the putt putt and hot tub. It was a perfect location close to town. We also enjoyed fishing in the lake right near the property! Would definitely stay again! "Everything about our stay was perfect. Our host Shirley was amazing and made us immediately feel at home. The cottage is beautiful and sits on lovely grounds surrounded by an amazing garden. The location is walking distance to a quaint town and provides easy on -off access to the highway making it convenient to access all attractions and downtown Asheville. "

"It was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request."
"Our family enjoyed our stay at the Lake House! It was beautiful and conveniently located to several shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. We were only a 20 minute drive to Asheville, Old Fort, and the Catawba River Trails for hiking and sightseeing. The house was nicely furnished with comfortable furniture and was well-stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. The outdoor patio was a beautiful space to enjoy the end of day activities. Our host was a great communicator and checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed."
