« Beautiful house that is spotless. All linens are top of the line. Location right on Rt 120 means constant traffic noise but easy access to trail system is a bonus. A bit challenging to park 3 trucks and trailers- bigger parking would be helpful. Overall a really nice place if you don’t mind being right along the highway. »

« this camper is cute, clean, affordable, and we had all the privacy while we were here. This was all we needed as a base camp to explore the area, kettle creek state park is not far at all, and they rent kayaks, there are dark skies around, the town is okay and safe, but the property is anyways a bit cut-off from it. The host also had some board games, firewood, kitchen stuff etc. the property had great reviews on other websites. All in all - my 5 stars on everything »

« We had a wonderful stay. We were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from Penn State. We stayed in the RV which had all the comforts of home-cozy chairs, a roomy dining area, and comfortable beds. We had a problem with the lock when we first arrived and the owner immediately replied to our query and fixed the issue. « This place is very relaxing, cozy and clean. Spent some time fishing and sitting on the porch playing cards and watching the dove that has a nest on the porch was hoping the baby dove would start flying before we left but didn't happen. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend. »

« We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Black Bear. The cabin was everything we needed and super comfortable. The hot tub, the view from the back porch, the quiet was spectacular, especially the nature's light show in the trees by the creek at night. It was magical. Hope to get to stay again. « Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet...
