The beach was gorgeous and makes us want to stay there again maybe but by the end of the week the pool was shut down and the hot tub was just a warm tub. The pool table sags in the center. The air hockey table doesn’t work. There was no ball for fuss ball table. Despite being an all-inclusive resort, tip jars were everywhere. We were unable to get reservations at any à la carte restaurant all week; this is done via app. The buildings need cleaning and renovations. The beach is superb. The room was quiet except one night when neighbors were speaking loudly after midnight. The trapeze show was stunning. The buffet food was excellent. The staff was friendly. Checking in and out was easy. This was my third stay at Viva Fortuna. I will return if they update facilities and equipment. Not a lot to do and everything is a drive and we couldn’t find anything when we did drive around. Also the driving is like Great Britain, left on the road and right inside the car. We won’t be back."
