Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Qvibisi?
The best area to stay in Qvibisi is the central village area, particularly around Rustaveli Street, for its convenience and access to local amenities.

This central part of Qvibisi is where you'll find the majority of guesthouses, local eateries, and small shops. Rustaveli Street is the main thoroughfare, and many accommodations are set slightly back from it, offering a peaceful setting while still being close to everything. This area is well-suited for travellers who appreciate being able to walk to nearby points of interest.

Couples looking for a relaxing retreat will find this area particularly appealing. Many guesthouses here offer comfortable rooms and often include home-cooked meals, providing a personal touch. You're also within easy reach of the Qvibisi forest trails, great for tranquil walks.

For those interested in exploring the region's cultural heritage, staying centrally allows for convenient access to marshrutka stops for day trips to nearby Vardzia cave city or Borjomi.
When is the best time to go to Qvibisi?
The best time to visit Qvibisi is during the spring (late April to early June) and autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild, with comfortable temperatures for exploring the outdoors. Spring brings blooming wildflowers and lush green landscapes, while autumn offers stunning foliage, especially in the surrounding forests. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, making for a more relaxed experience.

Summer (July and August) can be quite warm, though it's still a popular time for visitors, especially those looking to enjoy the region's natural beauty and spend time by the river.
