Still only minutes from everything in Queenstown. The Lake’s Edge is an idyllic spot to spend your Queenstown getaway. The Space: ACCOMMODATION DETAILS: This 2-storey home is large and spacious, maximising the jaw-dropping views of Queenstown Bay and the mountains. The newly furnished lounge provides ambience after a day's skiing. The expansive balcony and floor to ceiling windows truly take in all the views of the Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains. The generous kitchen comes packed with everything you could need to cook a feast after a long day hiking or skiing. Step outside into the large sheltered courtyard, fit with landscaped gardens, a BBQ and brand-new outdoor furniture – ideal for alfresco dining. Thankfully there is also plenty of space to add a portable hot tub – just ask our reservations team. The home also comes with a lock up garage plus further off-street parking. BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS: Upstairs there is room for all the family or group, with four bedrooms including a shower with its very own skylight. In total, the home has 3 bathrooms. The house was quirky, warm and spacious with very large living areas and a good dining area. We hired a jacuzzi which went into the back yard with Spa Hire Queenstown and it was already set-up and hot by the time we got in on the first afternoon. It is about a twenty minute walk from the Queenstown town centre. The house was in good order. Clean and tidy. The only thing we found a little frustrating was removal of rubbish. Jan 6, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great location, in need of an upgrade. Overall, we had a really lovely stay at this property. The location is amazing being so close to the water and ideally about a 10 minute walk into town. The house was great although could do with a bit of maintenance and an upgrade. Majority of the doors didn’t close properly and simple things like putting fly screens on the windows would be amazing to prevent bugs getting in but still being able to enjoy the fresh lake air. The check in process was simple and easy and communication was fast when required. ##### Holly B. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very lovely however during our stay we had a few issues we had to phone the manager about, he was extremely rude and unhelpful, I am unsure why this man works in tourism as when ever he answered the phone he was extremely unwilling to take our call and had no interest in helping us what's so ever. It was a really lovely house and we had a great time however wouldn't return here if I had to deal with gwen again.
