We were traveling to Galveston to board Carnival Dream to celebrate our a 50th wedding anniversary . From start to finish.. Valerie helped me create the perfect plan . Transportation (both to and from ) IAH ( houston airport ) was provided -- private car-- Suggestions of attractions were most helpful We were able to walk to The Strand ( a Must do) We attended My Fair Lady produced by ETC ( a local theatre group) We visited the Aquarium at Moody Gardens had a private tour of Moody mansion {worth every $} and had a delicious delectable private meal at George Manor prepared by Michael {the chef!!!!!} Sunday morning we were provided a beautiful breakfast True Texan hospitality! and transportation by private car to board our ship...Upon return we were greeted by Jeff who had been our chauffeur As we had early departure from the ship we had time to relax at the George manor before catching our early afternoon flight from IAH . Every detail was perfect. Rosie the housekeeper attended to our every whim. Valerie and her husband were gracious hosts.IF you are looking for comfortable congenial atmosphere in historical Galveston THIS IS the place.
