Dark and dingy room at the back overlooking a swamp-like swimming pool and AC units. Bed reasonably comfortable, pillows (or rather pillow) dreadful. Inconveniently separate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast not worth the money really, but the coffee was nice. Host was agreeable and friendly. Sadly this was the only place we could find as most were fully booked. Next time, I’ll look more in advance and get something better. Le plus gros problème pour moi est l'insonorisation, on a bien entendu certains autres clients de l'hôtel (qui n'avait aucun respect, ils parlaient fort dans les couloirs) La chambre est mignonne mais notre literie un peu fatiguée. It was easy to check in and since it was not a busy day we felt like we had a private resort! The hot tub was terrific with extra clean shower & changing rooms. It was a nice touch to have tea available next to the tub too. It was a little too cold and windy to use the pool that day but it was also very clean. It was very nice to have the fridge in our room since we stopped for wine and cheese in town. The bed was very comfortable and we slept in which was needed after a long day of walking. Parking was easy which was also a relief. Great stay!" The approach to the building itself is lovely and the accommodation was also wonderful - very original and well thought out. We dined at the brasserie one evening which was lovely. It was low key with mainly sharing boards but we like that. The breakfast was a buffet and a number of the offerings were empty or nearly empty on the first morning as we were shortly before 9am, which was a disappointment but we arrived early on the second morning and everything was available. Breakfast was simple but pleasant. The staff everywhere were very helpful and friendly.
