What a hidden gem! The staff was so welcoming, the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was out of this world! Would definitely recommend this place if you are traveling to Puerto Plata.

Great stay in Puerto Plata

this property was so clean and everybody was so nice. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and the property was easy to get to. They even send us through WhatsApp places where we could go visit and place where we could go to eat when I go back to Puerto Plata, I will be definitely staying in Gaia Residence.

This is a lovely little hidden gem, slightly off the beaten path, but close enough to the heart of Puerto Plata to still be convenient. The hotel is bright and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The area is safe and walkable to shopping and numerous dining options, and the beach is a 25 minute walk away. The owners are wonderful people who genuinely care about the comfort of their guests. They provided lots of great information about the area, and they were very responsive to our needs and requests during our stay. To top it all off, they serve a delicious daily breakfast. We can't recommend Gaia Residence highly enough!

What a lovely hotel. Owners on site, great communication from the start. Amazing breakfast. Recommendations for restaurants, activities, taxi service given. Room felt just like home. Absolute recommendation!

Brand new house, all is in best condition. The gated community is in construction, so: the streets are still unpaved (but this is no issue). The location, a bit outside the city but still in walking distance, is good (one is fastly out of the crowded city). The rooms are very spacious, the breakfast is individual (and great), the staff fantastic - I will come back if possible!

Gaia - Awesome stay!

This little gem is awesome! It's a family owned business. Has all the amenities, private pool, free breakfast & WIFI, Netflix, Flat screen TV, maid service excellent, food excellent. Quiet and relaxing in a great location in gated area. A must for anyone! I will be back! Highly recommend.
