Close to beaches, shopping, dining, golf, hiking, parks and more. Located in Sandpiper Village, which is centrally located in Princeville, a resort community on the north shore of Kauai. The resort is quiet and professionally landscaped. I was born and raised in Hawaii, and we raised our kids in Princeville while they were young. We now live in Arizona, but a lot of our family still resides in Hawaii so we travel back "home" several times a year. It was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and a few steps away from a glorious morning walk along the golf course. We had everything we needed to make us feel at home. There were plentiful fans to keep us cool. The kitchen is easy to use and has stylish dinnerware, along with everything needed to cook a full meal and clean up afterwards. The patio has a lovely view, table and chairs for eating or relaxing, and coolers, beach chairs, an umbrella and water toys. Laundry was a breeze in a full-size washer and dryer. The bed is comfortable, always a plus after an active day on the island. The shower is spacious and there is plenty of storage around the sink for those who like to unpack. I always appreciate having enough hangers in the closet for myself and my husband, and the spacious closet had plenty. The coffee maker had no light showing that it was on or off and we can’t home to a burnt pot/burner second the toilet paper holder was not fastened to the wall and small things like molding around door jams were completely broken. The place was beautiful, but I think the owner may need to inspect The facility and not just take the cleaning person saying it is fine. Beautiful location with plenty to do within walking distance or a very short drive. Only problem was finding the unit once we got there, but besides that it was perfect. ##### Samuel C. Can opener was rusty and unusable, some of the basics like sugar and coffee weren’t provided although they said they would—not a dealbreaker but just not as advertised. I’m glad they provided tons of fans because the humidity made it almost unbearable. Some of the fixtures need updating, e.g., bathroom curtains almost falling apart, door frames with cracks, closet doors that don’t latch, etc. Overall very clean and comfortable but definitely needs some updating. ##### Arturo Séjour de 3 nuits en octobre 2024
