Villa Marica is a bright and sunny apartment located in the center of Positano. It sleeps five people. From Villa Marica you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and of Positano. Villa Marica is 90 square meters (970 square feet). It features a nice private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access. You will be in the center of Positano, a few steps from restaurants and shops. You will find the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus interno Positano line at 200 meters (660 feet). You will reach Villa Marica from the parking area going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 18 steps. You will not need a car to stay at Villa Marica. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, for a fee, inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for at most one small car (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller). Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. Please kindly note. The rental price includes: electricity; linens; towels.Available upon request: baby bed. To be paid at the property:final cleaning EUR 70.00.Available for a fee, if desired:parking, if reserved in advance EUR 25.00/day. Refundable security deposit paid cash upon arrival: EUR 300 (it is returned to you at check-out). Terrace The terrace is 25 square meters (270 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch and by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table, chairs and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea and of Positano. Living Room The living room is paved with handmade majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are bright and cheerful, and include a sofa and two armchairs. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The room has a arched window with a view of the sea. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Kitchen You will be able to enter the kitchen through a corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The kitchen has a high window. Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room and from the corridor. The furnishings are classic. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The furnishings are classic and welcoming. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The room has a window with a view of the sea and of the terrace, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. My husband and my 3 grown children (21,19, and 16) stayed for 4 nights in Villa Marica. Our stay started with a warm welcome from Maria Teresa which instantly made us feel at ease. The property is beautiful and authentic and you can’t beat the views. It’s impeccably clean and the air conditioning works very well (very important). There are fantastic restaurants walking distance in both directions from the property. And yes, you do have to walk the famed stairs to the main beach, but they were manageable on the way down and we took the road back up. It’s a little bit of work but fun to walk past all the shops along the way. So, as far as Positano goes - it was a perfect location. Highly recommend!!! ##### Shannon R. The view from the terrace is spectacular! We had coffee in the mornings and wine in the afternoon watching the boats and looking at the beautiful water. The location is perfect. We walked to dinner each night. The villa is good for the price. It is not luxurious but has everything you need. Fully equipped and even provides some voltage adapters, very thoughtful. The host is gracious and fully involved without intruding. The few steps and spectacular view make this a prime property in Positano. Third bedroom small, but OK for a single or a kid. Balcony and outside table comfortable for two people. Parking garage conveniently close. Maria Teresa \[the caretaker\] was very helpful. Excellent location, halfway up between beach and "top" of the hill. Convenient to small market and some excellent restaurants. Terrance with table and chairs and fabulous view, perfect spot for late afternoon glass of wine and appetizer before heading out to dinner. Would definitely recommend this place. The house manager, Maria Teresa, was great. Super informative and available for questions or recommendations. The Summer In Italy team are great, provide excellent recommendations and always quick to respond! We received recommendation to book with them and so glad we did.
