Gaze out from the terrace over the pastel-hued houses that climb the hillside, and across to the glittering water. Positano’s main beach is just 10 minutes away on foot, and all the main amenities of the town, including restaurants, shops and travel connections, are close by. Not included in the price, to be paid on site upon arrival: • Tourist tax 2,50 euros per day per person from 1/04 to 31/10\. Children under 10 years do not pay • Final cleaning 380,00 euros • For arrival after 8:00 PM until midnight a late arrival fee of 50,00 euros will be requested. A flight of 42 steps leads from the road to the villa and directly onto the terrace. Whilst exclusive to Casa Laura, the terrace is also used by the people on the top floor of the house (private accommodation) to access their property. The terrace has wonderful sea views and is furnished with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a bench. Extending over 123m², the villa is equipped with air conditioning and welcome extras such as mosquito nets in the bedroom. On the lower level, a living/dining room provides sofa seating, a dining table for six and a large-screen TV. From here, an archway leads into a well-equipped kitchen, with plenty of storage space and everything you need to prepare a delicious Italian lunch! Jun 8, 2025 Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy The ad boasts that it is a five minute walk to Spiaggia Grande but in reality, it was 577 steps away. We are in shape and have 3 20 year-old children, it took us minimum 15 minutes to walk up or down. It was not nearly as close as the ad advertises. Beware of all the steps! As far as cleanliness, the shower on the main floor does not drain. By the end of a shower you were standing in water over your ankles.The ad also advertises a large screen TV. It was medium size at best but does not work! So in essence, there was no TV.The fourth bedroom does have a bed in it, but there is no window, or air conditioner, basically it was a closet, there would not have been room to leave a suitcase out in the room. The views from the balcony are beautiful! We did sit on the terrace and also enjoyed the views from there. If the shower drain worked and the TV worked, it would be a nice place to stay. However, the deceit in advertising that it was close to the beach, tarnished our overall opinion of it. ##### Michele G.
