"Small room, but clean and well equipped. They put us on the top floor, but the elevators were fast and modern. The hotel is very close to the train/bus depot which was only a 10 min ride to the islands of Venice. While we could hear the trains passing by all night, the noise levels were manageable. The breakfast buffet was average, but adequate. The roads outside the hotel were very busy, noisy, and at times dangerous. It was not uncommon to see cars and buses going 40-60 mph around pedestrians. The best aspect of the Leonardo was easily the staff. They were all very kind, courteous, and helpful."

"I believe the hotel is over rated. Maybe a 7.5/8, not really a 9. With carpet in the rooms, if you have allergies you might suffer a bit. The room overall is ok. The breakfast is really good, which is a positive thing and there are few good restaurants nearby for dinner. Also, is very close if you need to take a bus yo the airport or a train to other places in Italy"

"Ideally located 5mins walk to Mestre train station for a 10minute ride to Venice S.Lucia. The hotel is on the 9th floor of what primarily seems to be university student residence building but with a shared reception. That said, the laundry, breakfast and staff were all great and available 24/7 and very helpful. If you just need a base for visiting Venice without the crazy central hotel prices, this place is worth looking at."

"The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, the fact that they charged for bottled water, which is usually provided, along with other items, was really disappointing."

"This is great and beautiful place to stay. Room is clean, simple but really good and you have everything you need around, also easy access to the public transport. However you need to avoid the rooms which is close to the road. Beside the camp is highway and nearest rooms is feels so noisy inside , hard to handle. But we have changed the room in the middle and it was just perfect."

"The location is very convenient with parking, although not a neighborhoodthat I would feel comfortable walking around at night. Many Chiense restaurants around the area. The hotel is very dated. Our room had a cigar-like smell that we couldn't get rid of. Very basic hotel."
