The room was clean and house keeping attended daily. The building is very old as I suspect many in the area are. The bathroom was very small and one of the taps in the shower was broken. It came out of the wall in my hand. There was soap supplied. The heat pump was very good for air conditioning. The beds were adequate but very uncomfortable mattresses for both. The area is secure and in the heart of shopping districts and restaurants. There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor so it was difficult climb with suitcases. We were helped by the staff with that on arrival. There were no amenities for food or coffee at the hotel. The key access was very old and each outings the key was handed in to the desk clerk which did feel safe as there was staff there 24 hours. The desk clerks were friendly. The fee I paid when I booked was changed when I arrived for a considerably larger fee and was told by the desk clerk that his friend made a mistake when he booked me. This was upsetting.
