"We had a wonderful stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, real dishes and an amazing barista making fresh coffee and cappuccinos! The area was walkable and close to great restaurants."

"Very satisfactory room. Clean, nice bathroom, plenty of towels. In room refrigerator with water and soda. Interesting artifacts in room. We were in the purple room, which was L shaped and didn’t have a lot of floor space. This establishment is right off one of the main shopping streets- so you get a lot of street noise. Also, the WiFi is finicky and low security. Finally, every place we stayed in Italy had hard beds and pillows. This was no exception. Security was very strong with codes for front door and your room."

"A very easy place to stay in Lucca that is 20 seconds from the train station. All of the hotels and rentals in the old walls are not that quick or easy to get to, and driving within the walls is practically impossible so even taxis can’t always get you there. A good breakfast with options, and very friendly staff throughout. Great value for the money. "

"An amazing 4-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment. The upper level provides breathtaking views of the mountains and key sites within the walls. Cristiano, our host, lives next door and was ever so helpful. The location is perfect as it is within the walls and just minutes by foot to all the key touristy points as well as lesser known places. It was so quiet that when opening the. Pots to the patio and balcony the sounds of songbirds was the first sound heard!"

"A well located hotel, just outside the city walls, close to the train station but quiet despite being on a main road.Parking is available. The inclusive spa is a lovely treat, especially if you book this for your arrival day, after travelling in. All staff are customer focussed, helpful, polite and pleasant. Breakfast is very good, plenty to choose from with healthy options and sweet treats. The fish restaurant next door was really nice and had a good choice of meals and wines. Our room (65) was well equipped and a decent size, as was the bathroom but the small shower cubicle was a disappointment given the overall size of the bathroom."
