The grounds are very well maintained and the ground around the pools never gets hot. The concierge was very helpful, booking us a snorkeling trip and providing other helpful information. "This property was just as described, and just what we were looking for. Unfortunately we had to make a few changes prior to our trip, none at the fault of the Host. Jerri was very understanding and worked with us without a problem. This was a great location for us, we wanted to be on the east side, but with having the Reef House Resort next door it was nice for our adult children we brought to enjoy their restaurant and we also dove with them for our scuba. We chose to get the house keeping and the chef. The food was great and it was amazing coming home with no dirty laundry! Both ladies were so wonderful and kind. It was my birthday during the trip and they went above and beyond to help my husband get a birthday cake and set up for a little party. They even gave me a gift. The house/boat person George was very helpful our entire stay. They called for a driver any time we had anything planned. We even visited the Church on the island. We loved it here and would absolutely stay here again in the future!"

"We have to say spending our vacation in Mango Creek Resort is amazing. All the meals we had were individualized. The last dinner we had was seafood soup with king crabs and lobsters. Every meal tasted fantastic. The living environment is so unique. Just stepping out from the back deck, we could swim in the ocean with a lot of fishes. There are so many activities we could enjoy, such as kayaking, fishing etc. my toddler son was so happy everyday with all kinds of animals around. All the staffs are knowledgeable and supportive. We highly recommend Mango Creek Resort to anyone."

"We loved our stay at Puerta Azul. They have their own dock to start snorkeling and kayaking from, as well as boat pickups of you prefer tours to reach farther destinations. Breakfast onsite was great with a weekly rotating menu. One thing to note is that the onsite restaurant is the only convenient but expensive option for lunch and dinner. The main road is not comfortably walkable, although we did do it a few nights for more variety. The front desk can also call taxis for you. The reef outside had some amazing snorkeling and was the highlight of the stay. We saw an octopus, 2 types of rays, jellyfish, squid, and countless fish species over the span of 5 days. Very few other hotels have set up here so we had the reef all to ourselves."
