Ground Floor: Open plan living space. Living area: 26" Freeview TV Dining area. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine First Floor: Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Utility room with coin-operated tumble dryer (shared with other properties on-site). Patio with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars.. All properties: Travel cot and highchair available on request. Communal lawned garden (shared with other properties on-site). 158-acre natural grounds (shared with owner and other properties on-site). No smoking.. These five, delightful cottages at Trentinney Farm Holiday Cottages are all situated in a peaceful setting on the owners’ 158-acre mixed farm, with crops, cattle, sheep and some poultry. This is some of the loveliest countryside in North Cornwall with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and from the top of the farm, spectacular views of the sea and moors. The traditional stone built barns, most of which are listed buildings, were built of local stone and slates from the nearby slate quarry at Delabole. Some of the buildings date back to the 16th century, but the history of Trentinney Farm goes back much further. According to legend, around the year 960, King Arthur killed the Lord of Tretiny (Trentinney) after the Lord had killed a white cow belonging to Arthur’s niece, now known as St Endellentia. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall are within a few minutes’ drive from Trentinney Farm Holiday Cottages. Polzeath, Port Quin, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel, Boscastle, Camelford, Wadebridge and many more are all within a short drive. Polzeath is one of the finest beaches in the British Isles with fine golden sand and rock pools. It is popular with Malibu surfers and those who prefer a boogie or belly board. Rock offers sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing and fishing trips. For golfing enthusiasts there are several golf clubs in the area. Beach 4 miles. Shop and restaurant 2½ miles, pub 1¾ miles. Round House (ref UK12083), Haywain (ref UK12084), Swallow’s Nest (ref UK12085), Owl’s Roost (ref UK12087) and Stable Cottage (ref UK12088) can be booked together to accommodate up to 20 guests. Free WiFi There are coin operated tumble driers available on site. The garden to the rear of the property is communal. The property is located on a working farm. Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards.
