Behind the house, the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains, where some of the black vulture has become rare settled rise to nest in peace and majestic make their rounds against the blue sky. This cottage is a traditional Majorcan farmhouse that has been modernized with careful consideration for its architectural features. The thick stone walls protect from heat and cold, are at the high ceilings on the ground floor, the typical dark wooden beams and the floor is covered with old tiles. Some antiques are integrated in the living room and recall a bygone era. On the ground floor is the living room with satellite TV, DVD player, comfortable seating elements, an old Boller oven and the wooden dining table with matching chairs. The kitchen with an old fashioned window, table and chairs and small, brick shelves and niches is equipped with all the amenities: dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven. A glass door leads to the covered terrace with a tiled, round dining table and barbeque. The lobby also houses a bathroom with toilet and shower. there are three bedrooms with air conditioning in the upper floor, one with en suite, the other two bedrooms share the second bathroom. The pool with swim ladder is set in a beautifully landscaped garden with many Mediterranean trees, shrubs and flowers. From the tiled with natural stone terraces you have a wonderful long jump and sea views over the large bay of Pollenca. The beach of Puerto Pollensa is just 1\. 5 km away and can be reached on foot. Various nooks and crannies in the garden are equipped with tables and chairs, or decorated stone benches and invite you to enjoy the tranquility. In the coastal town of Puerto Pollenca there is a long, narrow sandy beach and a beautiful beach promenade with small glider port, numerous restaurants, cafes overlooking the sea, large and small supermarkets, bike rental and water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, water skiing. In the old convent Santo Domingo classical concerts are held during the summer months.
