Can Pelat Vella, a secluded 19th-century cottage, dominates the artistic village of Deià.
The 2-bedroom villa has been recently renovated in a modern style and offers you the discreet and elegant comfort of a charming home.
The kitchen is fully equipped and all furniture and linens are of the highest quality.
The cottage is surrounded by the "Serra Tramuntana" listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and faces the sea.
The swimming pool is located in the garden of 4 terraces, planted with citrus trees, olive trees and bougainvillea.
In the evening, you can have a drink on the large terrace while admiring the sunset over the sea.

This property was like an oasis in the clouds. To say the views were amazing is almost an understatement…breathtaking. And not just the Mediterranean, village of Deia, and the cliffs of the Mallorcan mountain range above, but also the extensive well curated property and sparkling pool. The home was very well appointed, with fully stocked kitchen/grill and decorated with several lovely touches, making it feel like a cozy cottage get away. The walk up from the main town street is on the road (classic windy narrow) about 90 meters up so be aware and have a car or scooter if you don’t want to walk it. We just treated it as our daily workout when we went down for lunch and/or dinner, collecting a few things for the next day breakfast to enjoy on our terrace, which is definitely the BEST place for breakfast in all of Deia:-) Also don’t be afraid to spend an evening in with takeout or to make a meal from ingredients collected from the little grocer, and enjoy the sunset over the mountains as the garden and property glow. It’s magical. Anne Marie was AMAZING to communicate with, helping us with questions, food recommendations, and even notifying us of a local bike road race the day of our departure so we could plan accordingly with our transport back to Palma. It was a lovely place to spend our Deia holiday.

Bucolic setting with superior amenities

This is the top property we have stayed in. The views, the pool, the attention to detail in all aspects was superior. The parking in Deià was difficult so we didn’t venture down the hill often but we were very content to just relax and enjoy the villa. We had issues with mosquito bites, and later found many ways to repel them in the drawers throughout the villa. Kitchen had wonderful plates, knives, pans. Beds were extremely comfortable. We really loved everything! Thank you Anne Marie and Elena.

Super stylish villa and a beautiful view!

My fiancé and I booked this for a chilled getaway and it was perfect! The villa is beautiful inside and decorated with amazing art. The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook as you would at home. The best part was sitting in the fruit gardens and looking out over the view (much more spectacular than the photos), overlooking the town, mountains and coast! The pool was lovely, although a bit cold for March (it’s unheated) but we’ll definitely come back in the summer and get more use from it.A car is definitely needed to get up the private track to the villa. All went to plan except when the electric gate failed one night - but that was quickly sorted by the host and team!Thanks so much for having us!

Beautiful relaxing property in Deia

We loved everything about our stay at Anne-Marie’s beautiful home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We traveled with our one year old son, and Anne-Marie kindly provided a crib, a high chair, and baby gates for our use. The gardens are stunning and the views are even better than the photos. As others have mentioned, the house is at the top of a steep hill from town, but is a doable walk If you are in decent shape. Otherwise it’s a quick 2 min drive down the hill. The location is perfect for hiking, visiting the nearby towns and the beach. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful property

We just finished a 5-night stay and wish we had more time. The property exceeded our expectations. We arrived after dark on our check in day and Elena guided us into the property without a problem and made sure that we were provisioned. The home is conveniently located close to town if you want to go out to dinner but far enough away that it is quiet and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we are looking forward to returning.

Can Pelat August 2024

Can Pelat is a beautiful villa in one of the most gorgeous locations on Mallorca. The house is very modern and comfortable for a family of four. We enjoyed loads of time in the beautiful gardens and lovely pool. The town itself has loads of restaurants and shops and no need to visit the same restaurant twice. Very happy to be hosted by Anne-Marie who has great comms and we’ve already booked again for next year. Great holiday

This property is even better than the pictures. The views every day were worth the drive up to the house. We loved the pool and the kids loved interacting with the sheep every day. We watched the sunset each night. Elena was always there if we had a question. We highly recommend this house!

Can Pelat Vella has been lovingly restored to a very high standard. It’s beautiful inside and out. The pool and gardens are perfect. Probably one of the best views in Deia. You can’t get that view without a steep climb up, the only issue to consider when renting the villa. Highly recommend

Heaven on Earth

You should book Can Pelat Vella if it's available. We were two couples from the US staying in June. The grounds are like the Garden of Eden, the pool is great, the views and setting spectacular, and the house is one of the best we've ever rented with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, & beautiful decor. Anne Marie is so helpful, welcoming, and quick to respond. We are all eager to return.

Perfect Holiday Location

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful, peaceful home for one week while travelling through Spain. The location to the town of Deia - with varied restaurants - is excellent - quick drive down the hill. House is well appointed with many thoughtful additions. Linens fresh and beds very comfortable. Hiking trails near the house make for added bonus of location. Gardens and views fantastic. Anne Marie and her team were very pleasant, informative and prompt. We would certainly stay here again.
