"The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the beach and lake. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ambience of the fake fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and staff was helpful and it was great to have real dishes. Loved having the bar right there and being able to sit outside by the fire pit. Great bartender, too. Pool and hot tub were great -- both were large and appropriate temperatures. One difficulty was having to go up & down 5-6 steps even after getting on our floor."

"Although pine cottage is anything but a cottage it is very special our room looked over the Bay we could hear the clump clump of the horses quietly when we opened the window and it was just an exceptional visit. When you walk down the hill or take a cab club club club club go to joanne's for delightful mechanic Mackinac island fudge. If we ever come back we're going to stay here"

"Wonderful helpful staff. The facility itself is huge. Few public spaces or gatherings spaces. Difficult to find the way. Example: Directional signs for the front desk, pool, breakfast area. It’s very easy to get turned around inside the hallways. We did our best to help others. "

"Spent 3 nights here with my husband and mother in law and could not fault it. It is in an excellent location within walking distance to Mackinaw Crossings, a shopping, dining and entertainment hub. My 80 year old mother in law was able to walk to the ferry from here however the hotel does provide a shuttle service. One of the things that sets this hotel apart from others is the availability of tea and coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day and its free and delicious! The free breakfasts were also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and were a decent size. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Mackinaw."
