This adorable little 1 bedroom cabin at 280 sq ft is a favorite among couples or those looking to share an intimate getaway. This Vintage Rustic cabin, primarily designed for the camping & fishing enthusiast, is just one cabin of a 7 cabin resort. This cabin was built in the early 1930's and holds every bit of that vintage character. It may be a little rough around the edges but this authentic cabin holds the wonderful allure of days gone by. Electrical outlets would have been added a few years later and air conditioning wasn’t even thought of at that time. Those details won't matter to the outdoorsy kind coming for the camping experience where lake activity fills your day and evenings are enjoyed around the campfire. This charming cabin has a knotty pine interior and all the basics to create an Up North camping style atmosphere. A lifestyle one will appreciate becoming acquainted with. All the cabins are lined up next to each other along the shore of a beautifully serene lake. This close proximity to other cabins have traditionally created a friendly community style atmosphere where guests mingle and create lasting friendships. This is the kind of place where your grandparents brought your parents, your parent’s brought you, and you are now bringing your children to create beautiful memories while spending a nostalgic vacation in a familiar old cabin. This 1 bedroom cabin sleeps 2 people in a queen size bed. There is 1 electrical outlet next to the bed. Other electrical outlets are minimally located throughout the cabin. The cabin has a kitchen with everything to cover your basic needs, a dinning space and a simple bathroom that includes a warm shower. The spacious 10’x6’ enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Perfect for spending a quiet evening with a loved one. Whether you are looking for a home base to camp at the lake or a base camp while you explore the area’s attractions, you will enjoy this cozy cabin and all its imperfections. More than anything, you’re gonna love the authentic charm and the carefree lifestyle that comes with camping Up North. Pets are welcome on the property for an additional fee of $25 per night / per pet, paid at time of arrival if not otherwise paid. This includes pets of your visitors to the property. Free Parking is available for 1 vehicle per cabin. 1 boat/trailer per cabin is also free but are required to be parked in designated area elsewhere on the property. Extra vehicles require a $25 per day fee and must also be parked in a designated area elsewhere on the property. This includes vehicles of your visitors to the property. My sister wanted to go up north for her birthday and we chose this VRBO for it's location and price.The cabin was nicely appointed. Parking was super close. The cabins are a bit close together so there was a bit of noise from the neighbors, but nothing excessive. Everyone was friendly!The lake itself was very warm. Pretty Sandy by shore. I brought a paddleboard and it was a lovely lake to paddle around in! This particular cabin didn't have a great path to the water (2' drop), but the neighbors didn't mind us using their little beach. The enclosed sunroom/patio was great to sit in while the sun was coming up.When we arrived the cabin did smell like cigarette smoke. The windows were already open and eventually it aired out. Not sure if the prior renters smoked or if it came in through the window. And we did find some cigarette butts and weed butts in the patio room and on the picnic table outside that we cleaned up.Overall, would absolutely stay again! It was run down and cobwebs all over.There were stains on the sheets and matress pad. Not all windows had screens. The screen door on back porch has a huge gap and let all the bugs in. The location on the other hand was very nice. It too bad there was a tree down outside in the lake outside our cabin. The owners residence was pretty junky. The place could definitely use some TLC. All in all just seemed very run down. To bad could be very cute. ##### Renne N.
