You get what you pay for and I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Wall unit in the room was super loud. Housekeeping didn’t notice someone’s boxer briefs balled up behind the slider door curtain. The hot tub was tiny and jets weren’t working. It was just meh. They’re remodeling the rooms nicely but it’s still a motel.

Did not get the room I ordered on line.hot tub jets do not work and the water park could use maintenance but kids loved it and was not a bad rise

Compact with everything we needed (but no shampoo or shower gel). Only a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal which is a big plus (no parking worries). Our only negative was the loud noise of the fridge compressor overnight.

I typically don’t go beyond giving the basic reviews, but felt compelled to write a detailed review based on the exceptional support I received from one of the Rock Star staff members Ellie. So glad that we chose to stay at the Island House Hotel over the Father’s Day weekend. It’s a beautiful property pretty close to Main Street and enough distance away from the tourist activities. Here is the best part of our experience…when we checked out, my daughter left her phone in the room. We didn’t realize until after took a ferry out of island. You can imagine a teenage daughter’s reaction 🙂. When we called the hotel, Ellie not only immediately located the phone but also arranged for the phone to be send on the next ferry departing in about 15 mins. We had the phone in our hands in about 45 mins from the phone call. I know for a fact that such customer excellence is rare to find and hence my obligation to recognize Ellie. Thank you Ellie for what you do in maximizing the experience and lifelong memories for families.

Convenient location. Good parking. Excellent views. Have shuttle to the ferry and back.
