"Absolutely brilliant! The house is beautiful and so welcoming. Magda has decorated every corner with care. Lots of quirky features. Great terraced garden and wonderful views. Great location although you do need a car unless you are a hiker. Central for Dubrovnik and Split as day trips with lots of Riveira resorts nearby. We had a great stay and we wanted for nothing. Thank you Magda for your hospitality. Xxx"

"All inclusive adults only feature was great! No kids so it was quiet. Free food and drinks and select alcoholic beverages. View from our swim up pool was amazing! However our pool was full of mildew and mold. We were celebrating our anniversary so I booked the couples soirée which included dinner by the beach in a private day bed. It was perfect until we got interrupted by some local teenagers trespassing since it’s not a closed in area from the public. Which I reported to the front desk but was not offered any compensation which was disappointing since it was 120 euro booking. We also booked the couples relax which included a 25 minute massage which was wonderful but not long enough for 130 euro but came with a cocktail and snacks which we did not receive but no biggie. It also came with a Bali bed by the pool. Other than that it’s a beautiful resort. Just need some touching up and cleaning the swimup pools then it’d be perfect. "

"We have just returned from a lovely 2 week stay at Villa Olivia. This is the place for total peace. There are no near neighbours. The villa is as described. Milan takes enormous pride in his property and communicates well at all stages of the booking and the stay. He makes every effort to ensure you have everything you need. The villa and grounds are very clean and comfortable. It is perfectly possible to walk down to Podgora, about 30 minutes, but take the taxi number with you from the info folder. (Unless you are really fit!) There are a number of good restaurants and bars in the town. Milan will recommend. We would definitely recommend this place."

"Really lovely, clean villa in a stunning location however you need a car to drive into Podgora where parking is very difficult, especially in August, as it's very busy. We had a couple of issues with coffee machine not working, no gas for the BBQ and no parasols but this was dealt with quickly by Iva although one small parasol by the pool was not enough (5 of us huddled under it at one point). There was a lack of cups and glasses especially when 7 people are drinking water all day (possibly only around 7 or 8 glasses in total) and there were no plastic cups or glasses for the pool area which was dangerous, especially with children. We had to buy single use plastic cups to use by the pool which is really bad for the environment. On a positive note though the villa was very spacious and comfortable, including the beds and sofas and having an en-suite to each bedroom was just brilliant. I would recommend this villa, just needs a few more things in the kitchen."

"On arrival we were met by Stella who gave us a guided tour. She was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The whole villa has stunning oak floors & the air conditioning works perfectly 🥰 From your first step in the door its WOW! 2 bedrooms both en suite with lots of quality furnishings and lots of shorage space. Showers are brilliant too. The kitchen has everything you’ll need plus lots of extras. American size fridge/freezer, cafetiere, microwave, whisk, sandwich maker etc. Big dining table, immaculate crockery & cutlery. So many secret draws inside draws etc. Large leather seating area and huge flatscreen tv with satellite TV. Outside is just as impressive with good sized spotless pool, sunbeds, bbq, shaded areas, umbrellas. The balconies off the kitchen and bedrooms open to beautiful vistas of the area, church & sea. Would recommend 100% to anyone. Added bonus is the villa next doir is owned by her parents and sleeps 8 so can be booked together ❤️ We would stsy here again in a heartbeat. Fabulous holiday memories."

"We felt that the listing is highly misleading. The pool is very small and precarious. It blocks a fantastic view of Podgora, and not suitable for a group of 10. A better picture should be included to make it clear it's a small plunge pool. The listing gives the impression that it's a sunken pool and much bigger. Accessing the terrace is very unsafe! Want to make you aware that the hand rail on the wooden steps is not very secure. Once up there was only 4 sunbeds available, one of which was broken. This was very confusing due to how many people this Villa was due to sleeo.I would not recommend this property for anyone with children or anyone with mobility issues at all. We had issues with the hot water. There was only enough hot water each evening for 1 person to shower after which we were all subjected to cold showers. The sofa beds are not suitable. They were uncomfortable and woke our guests several times during the night due to them being unstable and thin mattresses. The bedrooms are spacious, as is the kitchen area. The place was very clean. Kitchen well equipped. The bathrooms had lots of space, but again I wouldn't take children due to the amount of stairs and floors are very slippy when wet. The host was lovely and helpful and Podgora itself was beautiful and incredibly friendly area of Croatia Overall we were just very disappointed with the outdoor space and looking back over the listing had we have realised that this was the set up we would not have booked."
