« Avis partagé. Point positif : Magnifique établissement, extérieur comme intérieur, gigantesque, situé prés d'un centre commercial, avec un arrêt de bus juste devant. Buffet petit déjeuner impeccable. Point négatif: nous avons eu une chambre double qui était pour moi une chambre simple. Nous avons séjourné à Okinawa juste avant et sommes actuellement à Osaka avec une chambre qui fait une fois et demi voir le double de celle ci. Les matériaux utilisés ne sont pas compatibles avec un hotel de ce...

« the entire hotel smells bad, a smell that resembles cold tobacco. the smell in the elevator and in the bathroom is absolutely disgusting. the toilet bowl is too small and was stained with urine when we arrived. the rooms look shabby, you can see that they have not been redone for a very long time. the rooms are poorly laid out. the tv is not watchable from the bed. there is way too much furniture. you trip over it. you can hear a lot of noise coming from neighboring rooms. the staff is friendly...

« The room was small and you couldn’t cook. They turned off the stove so you can’t heat up food but you have a fridge so it’s a plus I guess. Trying to check in was confusing but eventually you’ll figure it out. Contacting the owner was difficult. »

![Seaside Momochi (シーサイドももち, Shīsaido Momochi) is Fukuoka's modern waterfront located on reclaimed land along Hakata Bay. The area was originally developed as the site of the 1989 Asia Pacific Expo and is now home to several attractive amusements including beaches, museums and a variety of shopping and dining options centered around Fukuoka Tower.

Momochihama Seaside Park is a one kilometer long stretch of artificial beach at the foot of Fukuoka Tower. At the center of the beach is Marizon, an artificial island featuring restaurants, shops, a wedding hall, and a ferry port with connections to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park across Hakata Bay. The beach is also a popular spot for swimming and sports such as volleyball and soccer.

Probably one of the best views to see the whole expanse of the beach (as well as a 360degree view of the city) would be from atop the Fukuoka Tower observation deck, 123m above ground. I highly recommend going there before sunset right before it gets crowded to appreciate the view during daytime and golden hour, then stay until evening to witness the blue hour and night view of the whole city.
