"Our stay at Lanta Miami was bliss. This is such a peaceful place and fantastic for a 3 star resort. We had a family beach bungalow and it was spacious with 2 king beds. Daily cleaning was really appreciated. The pool area does need a bit of updating but there’s so much shade and the pool is kept so clean. Being right on the beach was wonderful. Local amenities good, walking distance to what you’ll need. We had stayed in Phuket the week before at a 4 star which was hugely disappointing. Lanta Miami was what we needed, chilled, peaceful and beautiful. "

"The staff are lovely and very friendly. The food we had was nice. Breakfast was a basic selection, eggs, 2 thai dishes, salad, pancakes, chicken, sausage, pancake, fruit, cereal and cakes. All the restaurants on the island close at 9pm. I think the stretch of beach at the hotel was the nicest we saw. The room was nice and big. Electricity to the rooms shuts off between 10am and 3pm. There is a small playpark. If staying here make sure your boat drops you at Fantasy. Boats stop outside the hotel"

"The hotel is excellent value for money - Great rooms, big and well maintained pool, nice spa/massage parlor (which is a little more expensive than the local norm) and the beach on our doorstep. Breakfast is varied and good quality. The staff speak very good English at the reception and are very helpful. On the quieter side of the island, perfect if that’s what you are looking for. The main pier for speedboats is about 40 mins away (if you are interested in day trips). The local beach is really fantastic - clean, nice sand, great water (good for kids) and beautiful sunsets. If you want nightlife and shops, the closest is 15 mins away at Khlong Nin. "

"We asked on the first day of our 3 day stay if the could fix the shower. They shower never got fixed. Then we could smell the septic system (poop smell) all day long in the room. we needed up closing the door to the bathroom and running the fan all day, everyday while there. I would not recommend."
