![This is a lovely beach to relax and swim at. Kantiang beach is definitely one of the cleanest beaches that we have seen in Thailand.  We were fortunate enough to see why the beach was so clean. The local workers from the Pimalai Resort and Spa spent sometime from work cleaning up the beach.  I wish other locals and hotels would do the same to help the pollution issues that the beaches and seas are facing here in Thailand as well as around the world. It also looked like a great team building experience. "We had 3 of us stay in a 2 bed villa which was excellent. Each bedroom and the sitting room had its own shower and toilet and the sofa bed was perfectly adequate. Private pool was lovely. Location is good - short walk from 7-11 and beach. However a little far from long beach. All in all a lovely place. Would recommend. "

"Good location and cool vibe for accommodation. The bathtub on the balcony was a nice touch, though the water didn’t quite get hot enough. The bed was comfy and room cleaned well by the staff, they kept in touch via WhatsApp for any support / local recommendations / transport arrangements. The view from the pool/restaurant is incredible and worth heading up for. The only downsides were the pool has no working shower so people are getting in dirty, and we did have to ask a few times for bugs/leaves to be cleaned out. The restaurant food also wasn’t great and the breakfast selection wasn’t worth shouting about so we ate at local restaurants most of the time. Monkeys are hanging around a lot, they’re very cheeky and harmless but you have to keep an eye on your food and they do jump around in the trees/run across your roof at night. "

"Clean Villa, wonderful staff, loved having our own infinity pool. Our cleaning lady was amazing! The view was spectacular, monkeys, crickets, birds and landscaping were lovely. The only suggestion I would make is that the Villa is not part of the resort and a long 1/4mile walk to the hotel lobby/restaurant and main road. If they put in a walking path that connected the Villa to the amazing Chill Grill House (excellent chill vibe great bar and pizza Swiss family Robsinson style) road that would be far better than the trek up to the Villa. Unfortunately we didn’t find it till our last night. Hotel picked us up and transported us for free from Ferry to Villa but charged $500baht to take us back to the ferry, they had other couples going. The Villa does not have screens and at night when you have lights on the bugs and mosquitoes come in. You can’t leave the windows open because of the monkeys. Thankfully half the Villa (the bedrooms) have A/C!! We loved our relaxing time here. "
