"We loved this apartment. Vanessa and her brother operate a hotel and multiple apartments in Piazza Armerina. Our apartment was fantastic. It is very centrally located and had it’s own reserved parking spot right outside the door. Two bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a large bedroom. For the 3 in our party, it was the most spacious spot we stayed during 2 weeks in Sicily. Vanessa was extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants - which were fantastic. She was also very gracious with other...

4.6 out of 10, (3)
"First of all if you want to see Villa Romana del Casale, which is a real gem, I'd not recommend you to stay in Piazza Armerina. If you are driving from any part of Sicily you can spend 2-3 hours in there, but don't even think about driving in these narrow streets in town, unless you born here. Now get back to the hotel rating. There was no real reception area, the office was upstairs. The area just inside the front door had a chair and desk with just some promotional cards from a café on it but...

Park Hotel Paradiso
3.0 star property
5.4 out of 10, (7)
"This hotel has the lobby resembling a conference center.-very sterile appearance. Getting to the hotel from the highway, although you can see it, or the town of Piazza Amerina is confusing and routes you through a poor section of town. The signage is inadequate for this remotely located hotel, The quality of the furniture in the rooms approaches a college dormitory. The breakfast was close to Spartan (the worst hotel breakfast I have had in the last 30 years of travelling). You have to enter the...
