Then he was in the room an additional maybe 20 minutes attempting to fix the door, I finally told him to come the next day. We didn’t want to touch anything but it was so late we just went to sleep. At 6am there was someone banging at the door. My children were so scared, luckily they stopped after a few seconds and left. There was a lot of foot traffic and let me not forget the smell, it was terrible. The room did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned, and we noticed insects, including cockroaches, during our stay. The property did not match the photos shown online and appeared much more worn and in need of maintenance than expected. There was frequent activity outside our room late at night, including loud arguments, which made it difficult to feel comfortable — especially traveling with my children. I signed a property agreement regarding property rules during check-in, yet some of the activity happening outside did not reflect those standards. I requested a refund due to the cleanliness and comfort concerns, but it was declined.
