"The property owner is very friendly and knowledgeable.He spent a number of years abroad and the decoration in this old Victorian represents his travels.There is also a thai restaurant incorporated inside the house"

"Near hiking for Mt. Greylock and the Appalachian Trail. Nice walking area close by at Lamb's Hill. Clean Older mattress, was OK, but could feel springs a little. If you like a tub, it is tiny. The shower is OK"

"wonderfully restored old mansion. Rooms were charming... nicely designed. In fact the entire facility has been thoughtfully brought into today's design standards. Very accomodating staff... although many appeared to be a training mode. Need to improve the professionalism a bit. They have a new general manager (had only been there about 2 weeks when we visited)... seems he has a number of things on his agenda that will improve the property even more. Food was good... but not wonderful. ...

Comforts of home

"I always feel more at home staying at Vacation Village, as opposed to typical hotels. I like that you have a mini-tv room in addition to a bedroom and kitchen, and that you can make your own meals instead of eating out all of the time!"
