Description of the house and property was spot on. When it stopped raining and the sun came out, the deck and backyard were just beautiful. The view of the lake is like a postcard. The host was extremely communicative, letting us know where everything was and quickly responsive to questions leading up the the stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we were prepared to celebrate our son's college graduation and were able to enjoy the weekend. Would recommend and stay again! ##### Chris J. The house was clean and very well equiped/furnished as described in the listing. The real star for us was the yard including the lake. The gazebo received constant use, the canoes and kayaks got a workout, and the firepit was going most of the time. There are attractions nearby, of course, but the house, yard and lake provided everything our group needed to have a great time. ##### Walter R. My extended family and I had the best time at this beautiful lake house on Toddy Pond. It was peaceful and relaxing. Enough room for everyone with a bedroom for all! The deck is amazing overlooking the lake. So much fun to be had on the lake itself. Blue Hill is close by and a great place to visit. Acadia was close enough for some day trips. There was enough of everything….. enough beds, enough plates and utensils, enough cooking accessories, enough linens and towels. The view was spectacular. Many a morning was spent on the dock taking in the sunrise. The kids - and actually the adults, too - couldn’t get enough of the kayaks. Our host checked in with us often to make sure all was well. The house was perfect for humans and four-legged friends. The kids loved kayaking and swimming to the floating dock (pack water shoes for the rocks). The adults loved sitting on the dock or under the gazebo, as well as nightly fire pits. The dogs loved the large yard and when we wanted a break from them, the back deck had built in gates to keep them locked up there. The house itself has everything and anything you might need, but it was nice having a grocery store only 15 minutes away. Highly recommend this home! We will be back, I’m sure! ##### Krista C. Plenty of room for everyone and the outdoor area was phenomenal with easy access to the lake.
