"I booked a 'courtyard king' thinking it would be an interior courtyard room. It was not. Recommend calling to confirm location if meaningful. We faced a street under construction. The room was clean - surprised no robes or bathmat. No blackout curtains but we had eye masks. A few items would have made the experience more luxurious - consistent with the price."

"Absolutely everything about this hotel is quaint, clean and excellent service! Shelly, front desk was so genuine and helpful. The coffee shop has the right amenities to eat/breakfast/lunch/snacks… Even cocktails and the best coffees in town they serve too. Parking is a breeze… They even leave you two deliciouschocolate chip cookies on your door… Fabulous place to stay, We would return. Much appreciated, Connie & Tim McGuire"

"We had a wonderful stay at this house! The place was extremely clean and well taken care of, which made us feel comfortable right away. There was plenty of space for our big family to spread out and relax without feeling crowded. There was plenty of parking. We took 4 trucks and there was still plenty of space. We also loved the board games that were available — such a thoughtful touch and perfect for spending quality time together in the evenings. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!"

"A superb property with a great view of the water. Our host very kindly allowed us to sit on the dock. A well laid out kitchen that was well equipped with everything except a kettle - Americans are not great tea drinkers. A couple of great restaurants though not within walking distance. Would we go back - most definitely"

"The property was not clean, the toilet bowl was brown, when lifting up the toilet seat, there was poop all over it. The shower door is glass had soap scum all over it. The soap dish holder was rusted and had a used bar soap in it. The bathroom soap bottle when I went to wash my hands had something dark brown coming out of it, the soap in the bottle was orange. There were dead german roaches and also spiders crawling around. The closets were full of the owners junk, lamps and lamp shades, the lamps were stacked on the dressers in the bedroom. We left the same day we checked in because of the roaches and how dirty the bathroom was. It was unacceptable and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here."

"Great overnight getaway for me and my hubby! Close to the beaches, history and wildlife. Highly recommend.A little more shelf area and hooks in the shower and bathroom, as well as a plastic shower curtain would be appreciated. Also, bathroom vent would be a big plus. MINOR requests, compared to MAJOR amenities in this tiny house.LOVED the swing and seating by the marsh. Enjoyed the critters in the backyard - egrets, marsh rabbits, deer and fabulous native plants.Minutes from good food, parks, and markets!CHEERS!!! :)"

"For whatever reason, GPS takes you a mile or two past the entrance to the road to the house and makes a big circle back. Just beware of that.Bring 13-gallon size garbage bags because we only had one for the kitchen and it filled up fast with 13 people.We really enjoyed the dock, the kids loved the pool. Seeing that tide rise and lower is wild!"
