A special shout out to Aurelio at front desk who went above and beyond to help us plan excursions. 4 star is due to no functioning hot water during our 5 day stay while they did try fixing it. "I stayed at Margaritaville in Costa Rica for a full week and overall had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. I chose the all-inclusive package and did excursions every other day, so I was only on the resort about half of the time. Even with that, I will say the food did get a bit repetitive. It was very catered toward American tastes and didn’t change much throughout the week — that would be my only real downside. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. The service truly stood out. At the swim-up bar, Elias went above and beyond for my kids, who kept ordering virgin margaritas. He even gave my three-year-old a tiny cup that was absolutely adorable. He was so friendly and patient — I couldn’t have asked for better service. The hotel itself was very clean. Housekeeping came every day, so I never had to worry about a thing. At the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar, Fiona, Nadezca, Steicy, Melvin, Marvin, and Gabriel provided excellent service as well. Overall, Margaritaville delivered a fun, relaxing vacation with exceptional staff. I would definitely recommend it, especially for families."

"Excellent property with a beautiful beach. I loved seeing the friendly monkeys around the resort—they were such a fun touch! The only concern I had was a strange smell in my room that I couldn’t quite identify. I also wish I had been able to try the steakhouse, but it was fully booked every night during my stay. Other than that, I had a great time and it’s a wonderful resort. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
