"The rooms were clean, and the bathroom includes the typical bidet and towel warmer. The toilet paper roll holder is in an odd place, basically inside of the shower/bathtub area and kept falling apart when I tried to use. The rooftop pool, gym, and deck area is very nice! The staff was great and super helpful. Location is awesome, with a metro right outside the hotel."

"Clean, well stocked room with a wonderful view. Simultáneo Gastrobar was great especially the friendly staff. Terrace Bar did not serve drinks or food after 7.30pm and the 2 main restaurants open at 8pm. Taxis were always available outside. Iced water available in the lobby to refill guests water bottles would be an eco-friendly option which many other hotel chains offer. We ate at Filigrana and enjoyed the pork rib croquettes for appetizer but the traditional lamb was mainly unrendered fat and bones with very little meat. My dining companion complained and had monkfish as a replacement but that was quite rubbery and tough. I would recommend the hotel and especially the courteous, helpful staff but not Filigrana. "

"This hotel is great, the staff is wonderful and it is in in a great location. The only I would say is there is noise at night on the weekends, so keep that in mind when staying on the Rambla. Love this hotel and would definitely stay here again. "

"Excellent breakfast with lots of options and fresh churros. Comfortable room and great location. Cleanliness can be improved but seems to be a problem due to overtourism and city infrastructure rather than hotel amenities. "

"On first impressions the hotel looked great, bed/room & bathroom were well proportioned and clean, but there are a few reasons why I have knocked off some stars. There was only one plug socket in the room and it was no where near a mirror, the bed was hard, and the pillows firm with no option to choose a softer pillow, the noise from the road (taking into consideration that the hotel is very conveniently located close to the roundabout outside the FIRA, so it’s an incredibly busy area) was some of the worst I have ever experienced. I have stayed in many hotels on busy roads but the windows have always been adequate enough so that road noise was minimised, but this wasn’t the case here and the traffic is heavy 24/7 and the underground also runs beneath. The view from the window was completely obscured by something attached to the exterior. The breakfast was minimal to put it politely, next to nothing in terms of hot options, and very little else unless you’re happy with paying for a breakfast and having toast and jam. The straw that broke the camels back for me was that on the 2nd evening the water in my room wasn’t replenished, and so I let reception know and asked if they could ensure I had some that evening, only to be told that you only get water in your room on the first night! I was staying for 4 nights and was astonished that a modern hotel wouldn’t provide water for their guests! Anyway, we travel to Barcelona regularly for business and won’t be staying there again!"
