"Upon arrival, after a long drive in a dark night filled with rain, I was met by a warm friendly front desk staff. I was disappointed to learn there was a mistake with the online booking I made and the room I had chosen was unavailable. However, I was immediately surprised and very pleased to learn I had been upgraded as a result. They were kind enough to put me in a stand-alone cottage."

"The hotel was lovely and clean. Unfortunately I cannot give a 5* review because as a person that just recently had knee surgery, the parking situation was unacceptable. I wish I had known more in advance that there was a very ridiculously steep hill to climb. I had my cane but my knee suffered terribly because of the strain. I felt like I had no choice. No one even saw me coming to help with my suitcase so I struggled to walk myself while dragging my suitcase behind me. I can't even imagine what that would have been like had there been frost or an icy sidewalk. On my last night I parked across the road on the highway because I just couldn't risk that trek up hill again without risking my newly fixed knee. I can't recommend this hotel because it isn't safe for anyone with mobility issues. I told them I needed to be on the first floor because they spoke of no elevator. No one said anything about the ridiculously steep sidewalks. This hotel put me at risk by not giving me all the information."

"Nicole was quick to respond to queries which is appreciated. The view is nice but most of the furniture shown in the pictures were put away for the winter. I had picked this property so I could sit on the outdoor couch and read so I was disappointed and wish this was communicated before we rented. The property was clean. We found the beds too hard for our liking but you cannot please everyone with the type of bed. There are minimal cooking pots so for someone like me who likes to cook it made things difficult. We were only two and found the property a bit crammed. We had an issue with the batteries dying in the lock but someone came very quickly once I got a hold of Nicole. There doesn’t appear to be any outdoor light on the deck ( or it is burnt out) which made it harder to barbecue once the sun went down. Overall, the stay was ok. "

"It is basic and what you expect for the cost BUT our bed was broken and mattress sunk in the middle. Kitchen light and stove light didnt work and the outlet for the TV had no power so we moved the TV to a working outlet. "

"The staff was great! They have been very accommodating about me having my 81-year-old dad over for visits. He uses a walker, and we were given a level-entry room with a great view of the ocean! I've been coming back to this place for a year now. They have a BBQ for the guests!"
