Comfort Inn & Suites Tavares North

8/10 Good

"We checked in at midnight with a party of five across four rooms. I was assigned Room 308 on a different floor from the rest of my group. When I opened the door, the room was clearly occupied—lights were on, the bed was undone, and someone was inside (with the bathroom door open). As someone entering a room alone late at night, this was a scary and unsettling moment. While the front desk staff member quickly assigned me a new room, this points to a major glitch or breakdown in the hotel's room management system. Giving out key cards to an occupied room is a dangerous safety hazard. The hotel management urgently needs to review their room-tracking protocols and update procedures so system errors like this don't put guest in compromise situations."
