"The room was not clean! Hair in the bed!! Staff came to my room after I complained and yelled at us. Very unprofessional, did not feel comfortable to continue my stay. Extremely disappointed! Would not return or recommend to anyone."

In addition, I checked out early on Sunday rather than Monday, but I did not receive any confirmation of my early checkout. I had also requested Strawberry Shortcake blankets for my daughter and did not receive a response or follow-up regarding that request. I would appreciate confirmation that my checkout was processed correctly as of Sunday and a response addressing these concerns. Thank you for your attention to this matter. "The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. We loved this location. It's beautiful 'old Florida'. It did my heart good to visit there. We really liked our river view room having the option to go out the back door and use the chairs provided to look at the river and hear all the river sounds. Also, regarding the ice cream sold at the shop, the pint containers, the Butter Pecan was dangerously good. And, the woman running the store, in addition to her other duties, was super sweet. Great place and it is where we will stay anytime coming through the area. Loved it! "
