This is the perfect beach house with amazing oceanfront views and direct beach access. Out back there is a lovely patio on the beach for perfect oceanfront BBQs. The house has a spacious yet cozy layout perfect for your next beach vacation. Features: Oceanfront home (beach access is a steep slope as of right now this spring) 3 bedrooms / 2.5 baths Perfect family layout with spacious great room upstairs and cozy den downstairs Gorgeous finishes and furnishings throughout Recent complete remodel but preserved classic beach-house charm Wood stove WIFI / streaming TV (no cable) Gas BBQ Max cars 4 (Contact us if additional parking is needed) Sorry, no pets Layout: 3 level home. 2nd level entry has living room with TV and wood stove, dining room, kitchen, sliding door to deck and beach. Bedroom with queen bed, 2 twin beds and 1/2 bath. Upstairs crow's nest loft room (with amazing views!) has king bed and full bath with shower (no door in stairway but still feels very private upstairs). Downstairs has full bath with shower, cozy den with big-screen TV and bedroom with king bed. Garage available. Neighborhood: Sunset Avenue is a quiet street located between the Nestucca River and the Ocean that stretches south from the middle of Pacific City on the beach, and leads directly into Bob Straub State Park. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the oceanfront homes. Also off of Sunset Avenue you will find what is commonly known as "The Boat Landing", which along with a boat ramp is one of the best fishing holes in the area. Certain times of the year, you will find fisherman catching huge spring and fall Chinook Salmon. It was in a nice, small, and cozy community right on the beach. The house we well taken care of and had some spices and cooking supplies stocked (which is nice to not have to buy every time you travel). Out side was very relaxing. The only thing that is a little hard to see from the listing is that the beach is not easily accessible from the house, there's a big sand drop off to get to the beach, and you have to walk about a 1/2 mile to get to a place where you can climb up. We stayed at a five star resort just down the beach and this far exceeded it. The attention to detail in each room and the cleanliness was outstanding. The private access to the beach was a plus. We enjoyed everything about this home. Beachfront with little area behind house for our youngest to play in the sand while we let supper cook in the oven and read in front of wood stove. This was a beautiful beach house! Quiet, peaceful and the views perfectly picturesque. Our only complaints were having enough hot water for showers and it lacked a few kitchen essentials which we quite easily lived without but would have been nice. Due to that though, I would classify this as an adult beach house - which is what I wanted. I’d be nervous to have kids around as there are many breakable items throughout the house combined with the wood stove. All the rooms have bathrooms so it is a great adult/couple getaway maybe with older kids. It is gorgeous for adults and I liked all the detail and beautiful choices to create a great atmosphere you don’t typically get in Oregon beach houses. The windows, views and fire stove were fantastic as well. The only thing I would note other than it being an adult home would be it’s a tri-level house so there are a lot of stairs - to get to any level of house and in and out. So, anyone who struggles with stairs or doesn’t want to haul their stuff up and down stairs, this wouldn’t be for you. Overall, this is a fantastic place and I’d rent it again in a heartbeat as long as the price stays reasonable. ##### Stacie W.
