"The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend."

You’re steps away to natures paths as well as the local shops, eateries and coffee joints. "Every year my hubby and I go away for our anniversary and this year we chose this beautiful, quiet cottage near a lake that we had all to ourselves. This was the first time in 31 yrs we could actually swim in a body of water on our anniversary and so glad it was there. Such a beautiful spot and the hot tub at the cottage with the sparkling lights up above was so romantic. We loved the screened porch for this time of year to keep the buggies away. The whole experience was lovely and so if you are wanting to getaway, this may just be your spot. Melissa was very quick to get back promptly if we had any questions. Thank you Melissa and Dan.
