« We came to Michigan from Texas for three weeks, looking for cool weather in August. The cottage was supplied with the necessities. « My group found this to be the perfect spot for a weekend get away. The deck and dock are fantastic and the hot tub was very clean. The park across the street is great for all ages. If you wanted to hit a beach there is a public park 5 minutes away with a nice one. I would recommend this property to anyone and would 100% book again! »

« Overall an amazing experience. We had a very intimate wedding here. The host were very accommodating and gracious. Everyone had enough room. It was a hot weekend and it was definitely at night. Everything else was amazing! »

« The cottage is cute, comfortable and clean. Sitting outside is wonderful with the beautiful view of the lake and the plentiful birds in the area. We love the simplicity and natural beauty of Croton and Hardy dams and the nearby Muskegon river, trails and town of Newaygo. It is also nice to be near enough to Lake Michigan to go explore lakeshore towns. It is a special place that we have enjoyed returning to. »

« Our family of 7 plus our pup LOVES this house and it's our 4th summer making family memories! We love to water ski, wakeboard and tube and the glassy all day conditions are breathtaking! Kids fish in the morning, paddleboard, read books on the deck at sunrise and we enjoy sunset campfires. Beds are comfy, house is fully stocked with everything you could ever need and owners are quick to respond/friendly. Our kids look forward to this every year! Best place for family memories! »

« The property is great and the cabin itself is very unique and cool. We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet area with plenty of privacy and all the amenities needed to enjoy a get away. Only not of merit would be that the kitchen utensils are all present by are heavily worn and left us on a couple occasions wishing for a bit higher of quality for meal preparation. »

« We had a wonderful time at this Sand Lake house. Everything was perfect from the impeccably decorated home to all of the amenities. Being right on the lake is wonderful, and Sand Lake is not too far from other destinations like Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan. (Would recommend The Forager for lunch or dinner which is only 10-15 mins from the house.) We rented the boat which made it extra special. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family getaway. »

« The campground is being updated as it used to be a church camp. Cabin #1 is a cinder block cabin with 3 bedrooms, one shower/toilet/sink room and a common area for relaxing and eating. It was well decorated and comfortable. It has A/C and a couple fans. They thought of everything when they updated this place. The building with the restrooms is also a comfortable place to play games or watch movies. We were able to kayak and enjoy the river easily. We are looking forward to coming back again. »
