Great service by staff and comfortable room. The heated pool was nice, but surprisingly far from the doors on the back of the hotel (facing east, so no afternoon sun). Lots of access to shopping and dining, and a great breakfast in the morning.

Last moment booking while traveling from SC to TX. Hotel was nice, friendly staff, spacious, beds were okay and breakfast was delicious. However, rooms were a bit dirty. Found a diaper in the kitchen drawer and lots of crumbs on sofa chair. Thankfully the manager handled it and offered to return some money back.

My husband and I realize that there isn't much that can be done regarding this problem; however, the weed smokers were right outside the back door. You had to walk through it to get to your vehicle or take our dog for a potty break. Maybe there needs to be a requirement of a specific distance from the entrance/exit door. Otherwise, the facility was very clean and inviting.

We were greeted by a friendly lady behind the desk. She spoke to us every time we entered the lobby. She informed us of all the hotel’s services and amenities.

We absolutely love staying here! The staff is friendly and helpful and the room is comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and very well stocked. Delicious coffee! The shower in our room had mold around the floor pan, but that is my only negative. Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed for 4 nights. Rooms are very large with a kitchen and a full size refrigerator! Beds were very comfortable. Located near a major highway, which made it very convenient to get around. I would stay here again!

Convenient for Slidell. Staff was friendly. Hotel could use an overhaul. Carpet was sticky. Everything in the room was just worn. HVAC quit on the last day.

Property, great location, around lots of shopping and restaurants. Staff were very nice, the only issue I asked specially for a certain type of room, it only took me 3 room moves till we got it right. They were very accommodating.

Roaches in the Room. Manager had no interest in offering discount. Very unhelpful. Rude! Seemed bothered that we mentioned the bugs. Won’t stay again. Don’t recommend it.

Great concept ruined by poor hygiene and indifferent staff. Paid for a studio - was placed in a room with temp over 85 F and the AC not working. Got moved to another room… here the towels were missing, there was pubic hair all over bathroom, the bed was unmade and it still smelled like food. Looked like a room used by the staff without the owners knowledge. Requested towels twice and when I complained the receptionist just said “ok” and hung up. Marriott management is not watching this place!

The television kept going out. The cable service was down the entire stay. The pool was closed due to a broken pump system. We had to drive 45 miles to take the kids swimming at the nearest beach. We planned on cooking at the hotel and swimming, but since we had to travel, we were out over $100 extra in gas and food. When asked if I could get a room discount…I was offered “points!” Really? For a Marriott…this is unacceptable, especially for what we paid!!!!
The room was nice but the bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows and comforter were nice but the bed was very hard.

Nice location in Slidell
While the hotel is fairly new (built within the past 6-8 years) the carpets throughout are already worn and in need of being replaced. The bed in our room was quite comfortable, but the pillows were awful. Feathers poking out of one made it useless for sleeping on, while the others were so flat they had to be folded in half to be of any use at all.
The location is easy to get to and very convenient to the Interstate as well as numerous restaurants and shopping locations. New Orleans is only 30-45 minutes away (with heavy traffic) and the Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches are nearby as well.
