The unit was clean, large and had plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone along with a full size kitchen and a small sitting space. The location was great. We didn't rent a car and were able to walk to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde, and the Superdome. A few feet from the property is a pick up spot for Cajun Encounters (the swamp tour was great) and other tours. Lots of restaurants, shops, and bars nearby (we recommend Mr. B's Bistro, Napoleon's House, and May Baily's).Mike was extremely responsive and attentive from the start of our trip. Our first night there was when the New Year's Eve terrorist attack occurred on Bourbon Street. Mike was quick to check in with us to make sure we were safe and to let him know if we needed anything. We had tickets to the Sugar Bowl which was delayed a day and Mike offered us a free extra night so we could attend the game. We were so appreciative of his kindness. Congo square in literally the next block. Jackson square, Cafe du Monde, Pat O Brians - name it and you can walk there! Cozy living space kept us engaged in conversations and the comfortable beds were a delight. The shower in one of the bathrooms with the tub probably needs a little fixing but overall no complaints. Easy check in an checkout. Location is top notch, and parking was easy. It wasn’t totally clear from the listing (or at least I couldn’t tell), but the bedrooms don’t have doors, so one of the bedrooms is basically an extension of the living room.
