Linda, the owner and operator, is very sweet and welcoming. Clearly a well-run and organized Inn. Room and facility was clean. It's an older building but that adds to charm. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and waterfront.

We had a wonderful stay in Pictou at the Braeside Country Inn. Sweet little spot with a wonderful host. The place was clean and quaint with lots of nice touches in this historic building. If you’re looking for a place that’s different from the ordinary, has charm, and character, this is the place for you.

The property was very well maintained, beds were very comfortable, complementary breakfast was great. The staff was very receptive and helpful, carried our bags in for us, beautiful view of the ocean from our room.

Friendly staff - helpful info arriving & ok continental breakfast. Very old Victorian inn has been updated but with carpet & paint and as expected with old buildings the heat/ a/c unit didn’t keep up so left with a muggy nights sleep.
