Our third floor room has been fully remodelled and was quite lovely specially the bathroom. Breakfast is available for a modest fee but there is some room for improvement there. The pool area is inside and lovely but was very hot and humid on a 30 degree day. Overall a good value for an overnight stay.

Beautifully restored old hotel. We were very impressed with the front office worker, who was very kind, told us a little about the local area, and helped us find a luggage trolley. I can't remember her name, but she was working the evening of July 1. The hotel is obviously old, but has been updated with modern conveniences. Would be nice to have more usb outlets, and a breakfast option, but maybe there isn't space for that. The parking was pretty tight, especially near the front entrance. We didn't really care for the stairs in the hallways, and people with disabilities may have a difficult time navigating the building. There is no pool on site, but we were allowed to use the pool and hot tub at a lovely property down the street. The location is excellent, though about a 15 minute walk to the town center. There's a nice waterfront park and a mall next to the hotel, as well as a tourist street car that takes you up and down the lakefront. We would definitely stay here again as it was an excellent value, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff is amazing.
