« Wonderful cabin in a convenient location for exploring the Quinault rain forest, a quieter spot to enjoy Olympic National Park. We hiked several of the nearby trails, went for a swim in the lake (cold but worth it!), and spent time skipping stones at the river just east of the property. We went grocery shopping in Aberdeen before arriving so that we'd have enough food for the entire stay, as there didn't seem to be grocery stores or many (reasonably priced) restaurants in the area. « Beautiful. Peaceful. So close to nature yet in the warmth of the home. Amazing views and sunsets. The beach is so walkable and the home was perfect. Loved the kitchen and the full sized washer and dryer were so nice to have for the week. It was hard to leave as this was probably one of our top favorite spots in all of Washington state. We will be back soon! P.S. Watch John Wayne in McQ while you stay and check out the final scene where he walks into the bar… it’s unit 1 downstairs!! »
