Since we were there just one night we didn’t plan to cook, thought it was easier to eat out with the lodge just across the lake. The kitchen however was very well equipped and would have suited us just fine for prepping a fun meal. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, right on the lake. It was very cozy, ample size, more beds than we needed for the two of us. We loved that it was pet friendly. Our labs absolutely loved swimming in the lake out front. My husband and I swam with them this morning then afterwards warmed up in the lively sauna off the master bedroom. Communion with John was very easy. He was always a quick email away if we had any questions. The location was just what we wanted for a quick but restful break from our normal routine. We would definitely return, next time for a longer stay and explore more waterfalls and hiking trails.
