« Diane and I highly recommend this property. From the owners, Brent & Diana to the beautiful location nestled between 2 mountain ranges to the abundance of wildlife to the comfortable cabin. « This was the perfect vacation home for our family of four. Kids loved exploring the property. We used the hot tub, grill, and fire pit. Good hiking trails and geocaches close to the cabin. So much to explore close by that we stayed in the area the whole time and never even went to town. »

« We stayed at this home for my son’s wedding weekend in Buena Vista. It was a perfect size for our larger group. Everyone had a bed and the home was very clean. The deck areas were fantastic and everyone enjoyed listening to the water from the creek/river. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and grilling. Truly, we would recommend this house to anyone! « Excellent place to stay. So many great hikes close by. With no WiFi, it's good to plan day trips ahead of time, but cell service/WiFi is just down the road. Quiet location, walking distance to lake & trails. Love the bathhouse. Didn't miss TV - bluetooth speaker in cabin, so music is available. We've stayed twice and will likely go back. »

« We stayed at one of those tiny homes. It was cute and comfortable for six of us. The only thing is the heater. it got really hot where the queen bed was, but all the other area stayed pretty cold. So some of us were sweating at night but some of us were freezing. Other than that we didn’t have any problems. Had beautiful view of mountains, got to see some deer on the site as well. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay! »

« Lisa was AMAZING to work with! I was proposing this weekend and surprising my fiance with this perfect cabin afterwards. Lisa was so great to work with, she had flowers, champagne, pictures, and plants all set up for when we walked in. I cannot express how perfect this cabin is and how great Lisa is. « We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. It’s the perfect location in the heart of Salida. Walkable to lots of shops, restaurants, coffee etc. neighboring areas of BV and Leadville were fun to explore as well. Easy access to tons of hikes in the area. Kitchen has everything you need, and everything was very clean. »

« Perfectly sited cabin for jumping off for fabulous spring hikes. The cabin is quiet, private and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Chip fixed the water heater immediately when the pilot light decided to extinguish itself and it was great to chat with him. Would stay again for sure! »

« My friend and I brought our dogs here for a weekend away and we really enjoyed it! The beds were very comfortable as the rest of the house. We used the hot tub both evenings that we were there and really enjoyed that. The only negative comment any of us had was about, the taxidermy animals as decorations. That was the only thing we didn’t really like. Otherwise, it is a great property and we had a terrific weekend! »
