Windsor Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

"It is important to know this is an historic 128 years old property with all the eccentricities and flavor of a time long gone. It has been beautifully preserved and was updated some year ago but it is not a modern hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the linens superb. The water pressure was the best I've felt in years giving a wonderful shower experience. And the towel sheets had me feeling pampered. We had supper at Floyd's which is conveniently on-site. Two adults shared the fried pimento balls and a sandwich wrap, both delicious and service was terrific. We had breakfast at the beautiful chinoiserie themed Rosemary & Thyme. I had a made-to-order omelet which was absolutely delicious and my coffee cup stayed full by the attention of Floyd, our delightful server. The Windsor Hotel is a wonderful historic property well worth a visit!"

"AMAZING!! The house is immaculate. Everything was exceptionally clean and the owner thought of everything to make our stay perfect. I travel a lot and this was by far the cleanest, nicest stay ever! You will love the fresh smell of the towels!!!"

"First off, the complimentary breakfast is not free. We did receive one discount coupon on check in, which we used the first day, for one of us. What we ordered, eggs, choice of meat, grits and choice of bread, where cooked to order and great, but they weren't free. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily which was greatly appreciated."

"I most say this airb&b experience is definitely a 10 out o10. The house was cleaner than a 5 star resort! My family and I don’t need fancy but clean and fresh …..a winner every time. The house is all we could ask for. The area is very quiet and peaceful close to the park and town for supplies. The host was great, helpful in every way. They even welcomed us with a basket of snacks that was greatly appreciated! The house is stocked with everything needed. My family will most certainly return and so enjoyed the hospitality and their generosity in sharing their beautiful home."

"This house has everything that you need for a family get away. All you need is a bathing suit. There is an amazing pool, outdoor space, games, ping pong, fully stocked kitchen, and more. Perfect place for families to reunite! We will definitely be coming back!"
